Differential GPS for Topographic Surveys
All GPS-based topographic surveys are conducted using differential techniques. In other words, a baseline is measured from a fixed point (Reference Station) to an unknown point (Mobile Station).
This process is carried out using one of the following methods:
POST-PROCESSING
Raw GPS satellite data is recorded and subsequently processed using specialized software in the office.
REAL-TIME
Data processing is performed at the time of measurement, providing an instantaneous and accurate position.
Equipment: DGPS Trimble R7 / R8
Aerial Surveying: Ebbe Drone
